The Archives of Cool is a Canadian lifestyle and design blog featuring the best looking stuff you can find on the internet, in Canada and around the world. I love featuring artists and designers who truly work hard at their craft; I love featuring groundbreaking industrial and product design; I love showcasing the local design community in Calgary. You’ll also find my thoughts on style, beauty, wellness, travel and food.  Thanks for popping by my little corner of the internet.

I am your typical multi-hyphenate (writer, blogger, designer, maker) – ultimately a big ideas person who gets zero sleep. I have a one-year old named Jack who inspires me every single day.

When I’m not out hunting the Next Big Thing in the wild streets of Calgary, I am writing columns for publications such as Avenue and Dote Magazine as well as several other online outlets.

I have been obsessed with the world of blogging since Myspace blogs were a thing and have been writing this blog The Archives of Cool since 2009.

It is my dream to write fiction, full-time, in the form of screenplays and short stories.

I am the co-founder of Next Big Thing, a conference-like experience for creative people that debuts Fall 2016 in Calgary, AB.

Beyond my editorial and blogging work, I sometimes also work as a creative strategist, creating exciting and interesting content for clients.
